120204 McMinnville Tour

So I wake up at 6 for my third day in the states, and wrote diary. Had pancake as breakfast that morning. It is funny that I actually wrote it down. I became too busy to do that soon…

Get to Melrose with Ed at 9, and kind of had another breakfast there (I love chocolate cookies!). We meet Connie and she told us a lot of things about her past, like she worked in the military and stuffs. She is currently working for the police. Oh and she told me that the Wanners will be my friendship family, so I don’t really have to apply for one.

While waiting for SangEun (who stay far away and had a bad morning that day, I guess), Connie asked us if we need to buy something, because we will be having a tour around McMinnville soon. So as soon as SangEun arrive (around noon) we left for Saturday Market.

We got some doughnut on our way there. And spent a lot of time at the very small market, where most people were with their dogs. I later notice that there is a place for dogs to bath in the market… Not quite interesting. SangEun managed to buy something though.

We kind of visited many souvenir stores (or decoration stores), and I bought nothing since, well I am not here to spend money. D=　Some of them did bought something, and yes SangEun was the best at shopping that day. D=

And so after wandering around the Historic Downtown at the 3rd Street, we left McMinnville  to a small town (probably Lafayette, or somewhere around) for lunch. Went to a very famous pizza restaurant. Connie bought us 2 pizzas. Nope I don’t really like them. =(　And they don’t make me feel full either. ==”

And after lunch, we got to Walmart Supermarket on our way back, which is actually not as big as I expected. Unfortunately, it is quite complicated. And of course I did not buy anything, but instead helped the others to look for what they need. All of them bought quite some stuffs.. Because they are all staying by themselves except me. D=

And JongBin regretted for not listening to my advice and bought a phone just too soon. When we get to Radio Shack, he was all regretful. We suggested that he get back to Walmart and return it but he said it is fine. Well, in this case, Connie’s offer can do nothing.

And so we get to yet another store, and they started buying stuffs again. The incident that I especially remember was that SangEun bought slipper that has 75 percent discount, but the cashier didn’t notice it, so we asked her if she could recheck and there you go, saved 4.5 dollars. xD

And so we went to Connie’s place to get the waterproof can which she offered. She has got a big yard! And it is almost in town (in between town and country). And they even have a travelling van! the inside is so comfortable. Oh man I want one of those. ><　Oh and she has got 2 dogs, funny dogs. One of them is kind of shy and the other one barks a lot, and that makes SangEun hates him. lol.

Yeah we played around at her place and took some pictures there, but I have no idea where are those pictures now. ==”

Oh, and did I tell you that Namhee favorite activity is to walk around? xD　She told us that in the orientation with Sandy. Such a joke. But actually I love doing so too, if the weather is good. And then, Connie has got 2 cats that live in her gaming room (independent building). The are really weird! The ain’t at all afraid of me. I let them smell my hand and petted them. =P

Seriously, I think the order is kind of mixed up. =(　I can’t remember what we do first and next. But the last thing we did was to get to Roth’s, where they bought their stuffs required for dinner, and I used Connie phone to call Ed as she suggested. That was already 5pm..

Cheryl came very soon and told me that she has waited at Melrose since 4… Oh shit, she told me to call her when I am done earlier that morning, but the schedule says that I will be done at around 4… So she ended up doing jogging and reading and stuffs. I feel so sorry. ><

Home! And I spent some time tidying my room. Basically just get out whatever I need to use from my luggage and put them some place inappropriate. Then as Cheryl suggested, I brought up my Go set and while she was preparing dinner, Kevin, Ed and I had a Go session together.

They have got some basics, so it is not really hard to teach them. We played two game (me versus Ed and me versus Kevin) at the same time. Below is a picture taken by Cheryl with he very DSLR, but it was set to manual so she did not know how to focus properly.. too bad, right?

It must be very long since I last played Go, ’cause I did lots of mistakes! And I failed to demonstrated the two different way of determining victory and defeat… I passed quite a few times in the game and therefore the two methods end up giving different scores. ==”

And then we got Dinner! Which made me feel extremely full. lol. Aria came in when I was washing dishes. She is still scared of me though. Too bad. But she is nice to pet too. Meow.

I took a bath and when I came out they were watching movie. I was too tired for that. I went to sleep……
