Wake up again at 8. Started reading those booklets and books Sandy gave to us. Saw Adagio sitting outside again, and so I let him in. Oh he is such a nice cat. Of course I played with him for awhile before continuing on my reading. =D
Let Adagio get upstairs as someone took Reggie out. When I get tired of reading, I got upstairs and got myself some cookies and a glass of chocolate milk. Life was good that way. But then I went back to read and then wrote diary after actually finish reading what I think are important.
They come back from church kind of much later than I have expected, because one of the horse they used to ride was in a competition… Had a quick lunch and then went to college.
Riley 201. Marie showed us this room on Saturday when she bought us to Sandy, so I kind of know where it is. I was not really late but they started early since many people were already there.
We have a faculty and an “old” transfer student, Geoff, with us. The first activity we did was to pair up and attempt to learn about each other, and then introduce your partner to everybody else. Mine was Shaun from Oregon, 24, had been in the air force for 4 years and has visited in many countries, majoring in maths and wish to teach in high school after college.
Next, we were introduce to some annoying stuff called Task Stream, which is a place for you to provide information about how the courses you have taken fit Linfield Curriculum. Fine, I will just do it when I am free. But I haven’t got the chance until today. =P
And then we have a campus tour. The other 6 international students didn’t join because they have got one earlier, so I went with several US transfer student. This tour kind of improve my knowledge about the place. lol. And that was when I was told that the observatory is no more in use.
Free time! I went back to 201 and have some chocolate cookies, oh and of course, published a new post on my blog. Can you guess which one it is? ;) And then… it is dinner time!
p/s: The cookies were prepared for us, those joining the orientation, but many were left!! I hope I had a container… =3
Dillin Hall. 5pm in the evening. Right after I got in, the senior, Geoff came in. No one else was there. We chatted while waiting and he said he can lend me his phone if I need to. Oh and he also told me about his India experience etc. Seems like he is very interested in Asian country…
Waited for about 15 minutes, noone came. So we went in and had our food. It was the Super Bowl Buffer, but the foods ain’t really good lol. It is free for us transfer students. Ah and I got really fulled, because I was eating cookies in the room earlier…
Geoff had a meeting at 5.30 and so he can’t wait, yet the 6 of them (international students) came in at 6.25… He chatted with them for awhile when I was using his phone. Managed to call home and Kevin helped me to call someone else, since none of them picked up my call.
Then I left the hall to Melrose and… Geoff came running out handing me the phone. It is Cheryl telling me that she can’t make it in time, and asked if I can wait until 7.30. No problem since I can just join the rest of them. =D
And we finally decided to get to SangEun’s apartment together, but then as soon as we left Dillin, Joshua and Jongbin left for Jongbin’s place, and soon enough, Namhee and Queenie left for some place else, and finally, YiYang said she has got some clothes to wash and left… So only the two of us walked to her apartment.
It really is big for two persons. Her roommate was not there so she was kind of lonely. I told them to get together and sleep with each other but… Well, it was just my suggestion, no one took it serious I guess. Oh and the path to her apartment was kind of dangerous..
Suddenly someone knocked the door and we went downstairs… it was Joshua and Jongbin. lol. We walked back to Renshaw, which is a computer lab. When I was in Riley eating cookies, they were all here.
Soon, Joshua, Queenie and Namhee went out to Albertson to get some stuffs, and then Jongbin left to sleep. I stayed with SangEun until 7.30. I told her to ask Joshua escort her back or just call for security service. Oh and it was her bf birthday and she was so busy and kind of accidentally made him mad. Well, this kind of things used to happen on me…
Home~ Played again with them call Blokus, a game that’s kind of similar to Go, in which you try your best to blocks others corners. Or simply, a jerky game, lol.
And then it is a good night for me. =D This is kind of a boring day… really… Blokus is fun though. Will try again when free. =P
