Losing my umbrella =(

Now it is Wednesday, and I have class again. Wake up at 6.15 and left at 7.45. Life repeats itself daily. =3

Went to Melrose and registered for two events. One of them is organized by a friend of Sandy, which was later cancelled because the organizer’s grandparent passed away all of a sudden… Sandy later changed the activity to going to the beach instead. The other activity is to visit an Asian market, called H-mart, I think.

Worked on my phone (on google voice) in Riley, and then went to Pioneer for classes.Oh and I lost my syllabus for sociology.. but then I met the girl that always push a chair into classes, she told me that she is going to drop sociology, and can give me her copy of syllabus. So lucky. =D

The Sociology quiz was cancelled because majority of the class has not read the textbook, bah, I knew it is going to happen. So as the class finished, I walked to the library with my umbrella. Yeah it was raining. Waited there sitting on the sofa until it is time for pronunciation class, but then I forgot my umbrella and… lost it. =(

Spent my time in Riley until 4 and went to Melrose, waited for someone to come and fetch me. Met Dr. Ismail, who asked me if I was waiting for my host family in front of Melrose on Sunday, because the college’s president saw me… ==”

And then me and Ed went to a store (probably Albertson) and bought some chicken and stuffs. Why? Because Oscar has arrived this afternoon. Who’s Oscar? A Korean student the Wanners used to host. And because Oscar is with us, another guy who is fond of him, Ti wanted to meet too. So we picked up Ti on our way home.

My psychology and sociology textbooks arrived in good shape. Good thing.

And so I met Oscar. We had some PS3 games together, starting with disc golf which Oscar is terrible at, and then a kind of sword game, which I preformed very well, and then archery, which I failed terribly. lol. We had dinner together, and yes, Oscar is kind of funny, or maybe, he is good at being make fun of. ==”

The truth is that, before he came, the weather was all sunny and dry, but starting the day he arrived, well it started raining. =(

Ti went back with Ed. So I bathed and sleep… and woke up on the other morning to realize that, hey! I lost my umbrella. =( That umbrella was from my sister. It has been with me for 7 years or so, I think. It has got “rain rain go away” written on it. I like it. But now it is lost. =(

I know I left it in the library, so I asked to be drop off at the library. Unfortunately, my umbrella was not turn in, and Cozine has not found any either, which means I have really lost my umbrella. Sigh.

Went to Melrose and got my new I-20 form. Spent all my time on groove IP, but it just won’t work. Went to IPS at Mac hall, but they claim to have not blocked anything, but the truth is that they blocked google talk. =(

Went to Pioneer to find Pro. Linder, and she taught me how to sign up for the psychology research participation credits. Signed up for the on at 4.30. ;)

Went shopping for some folders. Those in Linfield bookstore are just extremely expensive. I went to Albertson but the price there was not too much better. So I crossed the road and went to Roth’s. It is cheaper here. Checked at Bi-Mart, god, this is so cheap. So I bought two, one for pronunciation and the other for my psychology textbook, which are all loose leaves.

Notice that there is free wifi at Roth’s, but only for phones. So I walked back to the library to get my password with my laptop, and then got to Roth’s to sign in groove IP on my phone. It worked. Which proves that Linfield is blocking google talk, for some stupid reason. =(

Checked on the website about volunteer opportunities for my SOC 040 class, but all are outdated. I have to meet the person in charge next week to figure out what to do. And so when it was finally 4.30, I went to Pioneer and participated in a research by doing a questionnaire, which is really long and boring. Spent 1.15 hours on that. =(

Went to Taylor hall and wrote some diary there. And then it was the spring connection stuff again. Duh. Boring. Oh by the way, sometime in the day I applied for a tutor position in calculus, but I was told that it depends on the students need… Which means I probably won’t get the job. ==”

The spring connection thing ended in 15 minutes, so I get to Joshua dorm and downloaded Kakaotalk there. Used Whatsapp with my sister too. Smartphone, huh?

And then waited at Melrose with Joshua again. Blablabla. So late. The family wanted to go for bowling but the centre closes at 10, and they think it is too late for them to go. Me? I was so worn up I slept at around 10.15. ==”

I have experienced so much trouble in just 4 days. You say? Hopefully it will get better soon, but the truth is that I am getting more and more sorrow as time progresses. =(

A Hard Day

And so here goes the second day of class. Woke up early in the morning at 6, turned off the alarm I set on my new smartphone, and then fall asleep again…. Woke up again at 7 and a quarter, and realized that I turned the alarm off, instead of letting it snooz. ==”

Used the free morning to write diary. Left with Cheryl to college at about 9.45. Went to Melrose for something (can’t remember…), and then to the bookstore in Riley, attempting to read the Sociology textbook at the bookstore, but they only have new copies which are all sealed… waited for someone to buy a copy…

So I sat at the lounge, worked on my phone and stuffs. Finally it is almost 2, and my plan seemed not working. But I did regular contact with my professor telling him my situation. So now I decided to get to the library and see if there is any other books that can be used as a substitute..

Stopped at Renshaw on my way to the library. Checked my mailbox and my Pro. Rosado said he has left a copy for 2 hours reservation in the library, so I rushed to the library directly. Mr. Bahram processed the book before I can use it. So I studied from 2.30 to 4.30, almost gotten crazy. ==”

When I was studying, I realized I have lost my scarf. So as soon as I finished, I walked my way back to Renshaw, Riley, and Melrose, but can’t find a thing. Sandra told me that I can report it at Cozine, so I went there and reported my lost. But still, I decided to look around for another time.

Met SangEun and JongBin on my way to Renshaw. Then we got to library, I asked the librarian if anyone has turned in a scarf, oh my there you go, they kept it. God, I walked around and around… ==”

Helped SangEun to look for a calculus book. Then Jongbin, Queenie and Namhee all came to the library, and they all went off for Albertson. I have a meeting at 6.30, spring connection stuff. Bah. Boring.

After the boring “orientation”, Joshua and I went to Melrose and waited there. Cheryl is a bit late, I later learn that they tends to be late quite often, but now I have got a smartphone, so that will be fine. xD

Had dinner with Cheryl. Kevin and Ed were both still working even though it was already 8 something. Still busying for the huge project…

Sprayed the waterproof layer (from Connie) on my shoes before I went to bed…. it was a hard day, but another hard day is coming just too soon…
